The “Dock Talk” T-shirt was also introduced on the Lightning’s website, and proceeds will be donated to the Hillsborough Education Foundation. The money raised will go towards scholarships for students in need.

The Dock Talk T-shirt was actually the product of a simple idea by Killorn. After sending fans a “wow” video during the pandemic, Killorn wanted to come up with something a little bit different. In the end, his idea turned into a social media sensation and earned him more than a few fans in the process.

Lightning’s contract with Killorn

During the 2017-18 season, the Tampa Bay Lightning signed Alex Killorn to a seven-year contract. The deal has a salary cap hit of $4,45 million per year. The forward has a no trade clause that includes 16 teams.
